Im 18, and I went for my first ajustment today. All was fine - my one
leg no longer feels shorter than the other. Later in the day i stood
up and felt a bunch of little pops in my lower back on the side he
adjusted. Now I feel some pinching when I turn my leg and back certain
ways. I have another appointment in 9 days. Should I make an urgent
appointment for him to fix it, or is this normal? I still feel good,
but the pain increased after those little pops today. Any help is
appreciated! Thanks in advance.

Hi joel_r,

Thanks for accepting my comment as your answer...

I'd call the office and see if you could get back in earlier.

After an adjustment, you should relax, try to allow your back to stay
in alignment. You can help it by sitting straight, not crossing your
legs, and not sitting in any manner that puts your spine in a curved
position. Your back needs to become stable in the correct alignment.

It's not urgent, but you should alert him that you felt it move back
and you are in a bit of pain, he will suggest you come in earluier but
this is by no means an emergency. This is normal chiropractic.

Ask him to advise you on how to maintain the adjustment for a longer period.
