I'm looking for a software programme that allows me to do the following.
Example. I have a list a sentances,say...A
                                           B
                                           C
                                           D
Now with the click of a randomize switch the sentances re-arrange.
Example. C
                                           A
                                           D
                                           B.
The more sentances that the programme can handle the better.

Hi opoknock-ga,

Does your source data have one sentence per line, like in your
example? Or does this program need to deal with paragraphs of text
that each contain multiple sentences?

Hi there opoknock-ga,

Though it is possible for me to provide you instructions on how to
randomize a list using Excel and VBA I believe the best solution for
you is an easy to use add-on to Microsoft Word called Teacher's Pet.
This works very well at randomizing a list of sentences, whether the
sentence is one line or multiple lines.

Once you have Teacher's Pet, you can do all of the following in a simple click:
http://www.teachers-pet.org/whatistp.html

The feature that you're looking for is called Jumble a List where if
you highlight your list and choose "jumble a list" it will randomize
the order.

Best of all, the add-on is free (the site/software is funded based on
voluntary donations or contributions).

Instructions:
1. Go to the following link and sign up. You will receive a password
in your email instantly.
http://www.teachers-pet.org/download.html

2. Log in using your chosen username and given password and go to Free
Download. Select the version of Microsoft Word that you're using and
download the file (it doesn't matter whether you download the zip or
the exe)

3. Run Microsoft Word. click Tools on the top menu, and then move our
mouse over Macro, and then select Security on the submenu under Macro.
Choose Medium for the security level and click OK.

4. After you extract the zip file (or run the exe), you should have
two files. Open "Teachers Pet Text Tool 4.dot" and double-click
Activate once it is open. The next time you open Word, you should get
a Security Warning asking whether you want to enable or disable the
macro. Choose Enable Macros. (if you don't want to see the warning
each time, you can choose Low for the security level in step 3). You
should see a small button/toolbar called Teacher's Pet.

5. Highlight your list, click Teacher's Pet button and select Jumble a List.

You may also find the other features useful as well.

I hope this has helped and feel free to ask for any clarification or
if you would like to know how to randomize using excel functions or
vba sub.

Cheers,
Tox-ga

I would expect that this could be handled by Excel.
