I am looking for per square foot costs for new construction (built
from the ground) and renovation (converting an existing building)
costs in the Bay Area (San Francisco, CA, USA).
I need construction costs for the following types of buildings: Lab,
Office, Manufacturing, and Support.
If this information is not available on the net, is there some book or
service that can get it for me? |

Just divide the total cost of building materials, labor and equipment
costs by the total area to get the cost per square foot.

That is true, but that would be helpful to budget for construction.
But I want an industry average to compare to and see how my costs are
doing
