What information do hospitals require to operate? I'm looking for a
complete list of all information that's exchanged verbally, written
down, digitally recorded, observed and remembered, etc, and used by
hospital staff (doctors, nurses, interns, etc) as well as patients.
Some items on this list might be:

STAFF AVAILABILITY
For doctors, nurses, etc...
- shift status: off duty, on call, at hospital
- location in hospital
- current status (busy, on break, etc)
- job title

PATIENT STATUS
- medical record
- check-in date
- estimated duration of stay
- disgnosis
- current health status
- scheduled procedures
- meds, tests, etc
- number, timing, purpose of visits by staff

STAFF WORKLOAD
- scheduled meetings
- assigned patients
- scheduled and non-scheduled patient interactions
- sched and non-sched interactions with other staff

STAFF INFORMATION
- diagnostic information
- medical record update and reference
- transcription/dictation inputs and references

DIAGNOSTIC INFORMATION
- EKG, x-rays, Cat Scans, etc
- visual assessments
- lab tests

ASSET TRACKING
Location and status of medical equipment, drugs, etc.
