Hi. I would like to get information on the various types of services
Academic Libraries offer Corporate clients. I would also like to know
how clients are charged for these services.

For instance, do university libraries assist businesses in setting up
their own "in-house" libraries? If so, what are the typical fees for
this service?

Thanks.

I've never seen the sort of collection-consulting service you describe
offered by an academic style library.

The only commercial services I can think of that I've seen libraries
offer are of two kinds -- research services, and article delivery
services.

You can see both of these offered here:

Linda Hall Library of Science, Engineering & Technology

...Our Document Delivery Services Department allows students,
researchers, and businesses to request copies of journal articles,
conference proceedings, historical documents, or many other documents
housed at the Linda Hall Library.

...For more extensive searches, the fee-based Search Service is available.

Is that the sort of information you're looking for?
