I'd like to know how to use a Treo 650 as a modem from my macbook pro.
I have a GSM treo 650 and t-mobile service. I got reasonably far in
getting the treo hooked up to the mac, but I was presented with a
dialog asking me for a username, a password and a phone number. Does
that mean I need a separate dial up number to connect to get internet
connectivity for my laptop? Or can I somehow use the EDGE internet
connectivity that I can already use on my treo without a special dial
up number? And can you point me to any technical guides that can help
me do whatever setup is necessary?
