Hi,

I just bought an IBM x41 tablet pc, with windows tablet pc edition (a
variation of windows xp professional). After uninstalling the trial
version of the Norton security suite from the computer, I have
installed an official version of Norton Antivirus 10.0.2.2021 on the
machine yesterday.
Everything was ok until today, when I right click a folder or a file
and select the "scan for viruses" submanu, nothing happens. (I suppose
to see a Norton windows pops up and start scanning the folder or the
file.) And sometimes the computer hangs after this.

I tried to uninstall the Norton antivius from the "add and remove
programs", but the process could not finish (it stops when it "gathers
necessary system information"). I then reinstall Norton antivius
without uninstalling it (which actually is not a good idea), and
solves the previous problem. After sometime the problem comes back
again (i.e., can not use the "scan for viruses" submenu.)

I would appreciate help of permantely solving this problem.

Thanks!
