Any major bank in the Netherlands should be able open a commercial letter of credit for. Try your own bank, since it will know you. It is your creditworthiness - or cash deposit for the amount - that the L/C represents. Here are a couple of sites about L/Cs, in case you are not familiar with them: http://www.expertlaw.com/library/finance/letter_of_credit.html http://www.crfonline.org/orc/cro/cro-9-1.html The procedures and documentation are the same throughout the world, of course, but her is a Dutch bank's site: http://www.finansbank.nl/finansbank/netherlands/english/corporate_banking/trade_finance/letters_of_credit/ You will have to ask the bank about the pricing. |
