Try this:

1. Change the channel. Interference is usually the problem. If you
are using channel 6 try 1 or 11.

2. Do a factory reset on the wireless router. Just to be sure there
aren't any unusual settings causing this.

3. Use a different SSID. Using the default is never a good idea.
Even if you are not changing it requires all connecting computers to
create a new profile to connect to it and can help clear up problems.

4. If you are using WEP, change the key. If you are not using any
security, you should be. If you are I would change it anyway, just to
be sure that you don't have any external source causing you problems.

5. If you are still having trouble, I would try a new router.

Phones and other wireless devices that may use the same frequency as
your router can cause problems.

Let me know if this helps!

Thanks.

What kind of router do you have?
Linksys provides free tech support on their website via chat, so they
can walk you through any Linksys router you have.
If you have a D-Link router, I have had 3 of them that have all had
various problems, so your solution here would be to get a better
router.
