Problem occurs when computer is directing printer to print from e-mail program. When printing starts, a pop-up appears saying the document cannot be printed due to a system error. If the pop-up is closed, it will print the last page but not previous page of a 2-page document. When "printer" is checked in computer, it tells that printer is not connected. Prints OK from Microsoft Word...no pop-up warning. Solution, please? |

Hello. It sounds like the driver may be corrupted for the printer. (i.e. Either the PCL or PostScript driver is damaged). In my humble opinion, you should try reinstalling the driver for the printer. First write down the model of the HP printer that you have. Next, go to Start Menu -> Settings -> Printer and Faxes (or Start Menu -> Printers and Faxes) and delete the printer that is giving you the problem. Then, go to HP and download the driver for your printer and install it. Hope that fixes the problem! :) |
