There are 3 eggs missing from a sparrow nest built outside of my house. There are no shells or any other signs of mischief/destruction, but they are gone. Is it possible for a mother sparrow to carry eggs away to another location and if not, what might be the other possible reason(s) for their disappearance? |

Squirrels sometimes steal eggs from birds' nests. I saw it happen once. |

Raccoons may dine on them and some snakes eat eggs. |

Reportedly digsalot-ga will eat ANYTHING. I wonder if he lives in your neck of the woods? |
