Hi Mongolia,

I prefer creating tables using Word.

Here's how:

Open Word. Click on Table. Select Insert > Table. Format the number of
columns and rows to fit your needs.

Looking forward to your clarification.

Best regards,
Rainbow

I have done tables in both. I tend to agree with what your saying but
all my Colleages use Excel to create any type of table.

I was just wondering if there is a clear advantage in using Excel?

After further research, I have found that this is really just a matter
of opinion and what a person is used to.

The only advantage of Excel is that you can program operations on the
content, which you have stipulated you don't need. Word gives you
fancier features for layout and graphic design.

However, there is also sometimes some value in being consistent with
your colleagues, even if they are misguided.

If your colleagues use Excel, then I'd suggest you use it too. You can
copy Excel tables/sheets into Microsoft Word using CTRL+C or
Edit->Copy and just paste them into Word with CTRL+P/Edit->Paste.
