Hello sherpaj-ga,

I understand that you want to have one set of bookmarks and have both
firefox and IE use those bookmarks with changes being synchronized
between the two.

Internet explorer and Firefox do not have the built in ability to
utilize one set of bookmarks.

I am going to recommend that you try this software: http://www.roboform.com

Roboform is compatible with most major browsers and allows you to keep
one common set of bookmarks. Please try this software and let me know
if it meets your needs. If not, please respond here and I will
continue to research this question for you.

All the best,

tisme-ga

Search Strategy (on Google):

bookmarks synchronize
"one set of bookmarks" ie OR "internet explorer" firefox

I already use roboform for filli g out forms. I use it everyday. I
don't see how to make it work as a bookmark manager though. I thought
it was just for forms. Can you help me understand this other way to
use it?

Hello sherpaj-ga,

Do you have the newest version of Roboform installed? If not, you can
download the newest version directly from here:
http://www.roboform.org/dist/AiRoboForm.exe

For instructions on how to use Roboform for bookmarks, go to this page
and scroll down to the Bookmark section:
http://www.roboform.com/manual.html

I have pasted some of the important instructions for you below:

TO SAVE A BOOKMARK
-Click Save button on RoboForm toolbar or right-click web page and
select Save Forms.
-Check "Save As Bookmark" checkbox in Save Forms dialog.
-Click Save button and your bookmark is saved.

TO GO TO A BOOKMARK
-From Toolbar: Click the Logins button on RoboForm toolbar and select
a Bookmark. RoboForm will navigate your browser to the address stored
in the selected bookmark.
-From RoboForm Taskbar icon: Select Logins and then select a Bookmark to go to.
-From Passcard Editor: Open bookmark in Passcard Editor and click the
Goto button in the Editor toolbar.

All the best,
