Is it possible to install air conditioning in a car that did not have it installed in the factory? I inherited a 2005 Chevrolet Aveo that is acceptable for use in every way except that it does not currently have air conditioning. Specifically, I have looking for the following details: 1) Is it possible to install after-market air conditioning in a car? 2) Who, in Ontario, Canada offers this service and for what price? 3) Is this installation possible in a 2005 Chevrolet Aveo? 4) Is after-market air conditioning functionally equivalent to factory installed air conditioning? Thank you. |

My first car had an air conditioning installed after the car was manufactured. It generally worked almost as well as a factory installed air conditioning. However, since the car's electrical system was not set up to handle this extra load, I had to replace blown fuses occassionally. |
