Is it possible to install air conditioning in a car that did not have
it installed in the factory?

I inherited a 2005 Chevrolet Aveo that is acceptable for use in every
way except that it does not currently have air conditioning.

Specifically, I have looking for the following details:

1) Is it possible to install after-market air conditioning in a car?
2) Who, in Ontario, Canada offers this service and for what price?
3) Is this installation possible in a 2005 Chevrolet Aveo?
4) Is after-market air conditioning functionally equivalent to factory
installed air conditioning?

Thank you.

My first car had an air conditioning installed after the car was
manufactured. It generally worked almost as well as a factory
installed air conditioning. However, since the car's electrical
system was not set up to handle this extra load, I had to replace
blown fuses occassionally.
