Hello, 

I have downloaded Postgresql for windows 8.1 (bundled with PgAdminIII)
and installed it on my computer (XP profesional). It installed fine,
but I cant connect to it (neither from command line nor from
PgAdminIII). It gives the following error:

server closed the connection unexpectedly
This probably means the server terminated abnormally
before or while processing the request.

I have turned off my firewall and antivirus to makes sure they are not
interfering, but still not difference. I dont know if there some other
program that would interefre with postgresql on windows.
