I heard this clip on the radio around 1999 which was taken from a movie. It sounded very much like Adam Sandler trying to convince a friend to join his cult. Something like: AS - Its a great cult, man. You should join. But why? AS - Look, just join the cult OK? I dont need no cult, man. AS - JUST JOIN THE GODDAM CULT! Aw, all right, if itll shut you up. Then it fast forwards to another scene: AS - Peace be with you. And with you. AS - I heard about the cult killing your father, man. Bummer, huh? Yeah, but as the Master told us, it is for the greater good. I dont really like the idea of sitting through every Adam Sandler movie to find out which one it came from, so can someone tell me which one it is? |

Hello. Actually, the routine you heard is called "Joining the Cult," and it's on Adam Sandler's comedy CD "What The Hell Happened To Me?" (1996). An audio clip from "Joining the Cult" is available at Towerrecords.com http://www.towerrecords.com/product.asp?pfid=1050162&cc=USD Sandler's complete dialogue for "Joining the Cult" is available on the Azlyric.com's web page: http://www.azlyrics.com/lyrics/adamsandler/joiningthecult.html search strategy: "adam sandler", join cult, joining cult I hope this helps. |

rated this answer:![]() Wow, talk about fast. And to think that I might have suffered through every Adam Sandler film ever for nothing. Oh God, I feel sick just thinking about it... Anyways, my hat is very much in the "off" position. |
