Question ID: 743772
What are the fiscal years for the following ten states?

1. Alabama
2. Alaska
3. Arkansas
4. Georgia
5. Indiana
6. Louisiana
7. Michigan
8. Nebraska
9. Nevada
10. Missouri

For example, in Arizona, the fiscal year is July 1-June 30. I found
this by going to Arizona legislature's web site and searching for
"fiscal year," which turned up the following provision (from te state
constitution, I think):

"4. Fiscal year; annual statement of receipts and expenditures; deficit

Section 4. The fiscal year shall commence on the first day of July in
each year. . . ."

From: http://www.azleg.state.az.us/FormatDocument.asp?inDoc=/const/9/4.htm

Your answer need only include the date range and the URL where you found it.

I'd be happy to give more information. Thank you!

Wonderful! Thank you so much.

May I ask you very quickly to confirm Nevada's date range? The source
you included cited July 30 as an end to the state's FY ("This report
will be provided to the Nevada State Energy Office no later than 30
days following the end of the State Fiscal Year (July 30) and every
six months thereafter."), but that seems very odd. You note that the
FY in Nevada runs from July 1 to June 30, which makes a lot more
sense, but I didn't see that in the source (bad eyesight?)

Thanks so much.

I'm sorry that was unclear. Here is a better reference from the Clark
County (Las Vegas) Nevada Assessor's Office explaining Nevada's state
fiscal year (SFY) for taxation and other purposes:

"Nevada's fiscal year begins July 1 of each year and ends on June 30
of the following calendar year."

How's that?
