Too late, I looked in probonopublico's box. At least I managed to shut it in time, there's still hope in it. |

Thank you for tempting me. I failed the test, which just goes to show you I am old enough to know better and still too young to resist. Here Bryan, I found this today and have been posting it everywhere: AN ASCII WEB-OWL ! {o,o} |)__) -"-"- Then, there's ascii mood owls! http://www.triskele.com/asciiart.html |

OF course I looked; wouldn't miss a Probono question for anything, even the risk that it was full of virtual pestilence, war - even spam. Cynthia is a true night owl, posting at 1:08 PST, good time to find such links. Oh, I will venture an "answer": Kemlo WILL peek. |

"I can resist everything except temptation itself" OR "I would not even want to look into Probono's box" (in the cricketing sense of the word) KEMLO |

I had to choose between using a braille reader or a speech synthesizer. In the end, the speech synthesizer won because I don't have a braille reader. So it seems that I am the first one posting here who has complied with your request. Regards, eiffel-ga |

And you even kept your eyes off it while you were finding the "comment" button? Or will a speech synthesizer tell you when your cursor finds it? Kemlo, thanks for not letting me down, Myoarin |

Doh! As Homer Simpson always says. Which reminds me, that my husband used to work night shifts with a Muslim woman. One very hot night she is walking down the hall shouting to the guys in the control room "Don't look!". What do you think they did? Her response: "OMG, you saw me without my head scarf!". |

I wonder how much will-power Bryan has? Serve him right if he clicks. But most of us click when Cynthia posts something. I hope she got her beauty rest sometime since her first comment. |

I figured if I peeked once, I had broken the spell, but just in case, I have left this browser window open since the first peek -- I just refresh it. I don't want to take any chances, after all, look what happened to pink! |

Hello Pinkfruds Cat Please ... There is absolutely no need to apologise for your keyboard skills; or your grammar; or your spelling ... You are a darn sight better than Kemlo. His sepling is ATTROSHUS. Of course, Kemlo might also be sub-human ... Maybe another cockroach? I do hope that your Mistress soon recovers. It sounds to me as though she is suffering from an advanced case of chlorella poisoning. This is the second case that I have diagnosed this morning and I fear an epidemic. She may have contracted it at a Mensa meet because, as you must know, some very odd humans and sub-humans frequent these meets. Please tell her to get it seen to! I am sure that, when she returns from the Land of Nod, crabcakes can propose a remedy (subject to the usual disclaimers). Worried of Hove |

Ah, Bryan, but did you peek at those links? Mehitabel, I believe that's your name, you must be one of the new cats in Pinky's menagerie. I didn't know that she condones cockroaches, but sometimes it is easier to learn to live with them than try to get rid of them, and with an appreciation for Kafka and religious beliefs in transmigration (which I am sure Pink entertains - especially after this experience), it is much easier to live with them. I am posting a question for you with an incantation that you and two of your friends must read to her. It will bring her back to life. Beforehand, sure that she is properly support, since I am not sure how fast it works. I wouldn't want her to shake her red tresses and lose balance while her arms are still petrified. Oh, yes, please don't be offended by the mention of cats in the text. A properly spelled and capitalized answer will qualify as proof of her recovery. Give her my/our greetings, Myoarin |
