My boyfriend and I want to get married and he has a child with another
woman. She has gotten state aid and now my boyfriend is having his
wages garnished over 50%. He talked to a lawyer who wanted 1500
dollars down to take his case (which we don't have). She told him
that he has two cases open with the second case a clerical error that
he was told was taken care of months ago. What can we do to fix the
error and settle the past due amount. He only is legitimatly one
child's biological father. The state of Utah seems to ignore his
attempts to do anything but pay.
