Hey, I'm trying to sell my car, and I'd like to be able to tell people the expected lifespan of the engine. It's a 2001 Pontiac Grand Prix SE. I have 115,000 miles on it (primarily freeway miles). How many miles do engines like these tend to last? It would be great if you can include your source, as well. Thanks! Rick |

98,000, the way most owners drive them. No, sorry about that, I just couldn't resist. Hope you get a serious answer. This just a free comment. :-) Cheers |

Really, I heard somewhere in the area of 98,184.62 and 98,196.83, but I do suppose I could be a bit off, give or take aproximately 1.62 - 3.84 Miles. Hope you get a good researched answer. Would depend on the state as well, north, central or southern? |
