Well Crabcakes, unfortunately those sites won't do. I more need like a
letter (email) that I am a member or so. My friend is a suspicious guy
so it has to be "real".
So - the question still stands!

Hmm, I believe that you can send an email to yourself  (we can't).
Make your certificate, append it to an email with a nice brief "letter
head" from the Organization and a text confirming the x anniversery of
your membership and pleasure at presenting you with your certificate.
Of course, if your friend gets an on-screen view, you may have to
fiddle things a bit, but you can play around with that.  Maybe s/he
will be satisfied with the full screen image of the certificate.  ;-)

I'm NOT sending myself any email - still looking for a real site. As I
said, this friend of mine might check if such a site/club/institution
really exists....

I am able to send Emails to myself, it would be easy to check for yourself.

Another option to prove you are Anti-Smoking is to go out with your
friend, buy heaps of cigarettes then destroy them all!

Do not allow anyone to smoke in your home.

I think actions really speak louder than words.

Not a certificate, but go get a urine test for nicotine/cotinine! A
negative result will prove you have not been smoking! The proff will
be in the friend's hand! So to speak!
