There are about 53,000 real estate lawyers in the US.  

Martindale's has a well-known and very well-respected directory of
lawyers which can be accessed online at:

When you click on the "Lawyer Locator -- Advanced Search" link, you end up here:

and you can search the directory by area of practice.  Searching on
"real estate" returns the following:

I think this will be hard to answer.  Any attorney can handle real
estate questions and cases.  Of course, some concentrate on this area,
but I don't think that there is any strict definition for "real estate
attorneys".

If you can provide your definition in a Clarification, maybe a
Researcher can help you  - or perhaps one will come along and suggest
one first.

There's a directory of Attornies and it lists them by specialty, it's
called Hubbels or Hubbles or something like that.  Then you could
count the pages and multiply by the number of names on each page.

Well, I finnally looked it up - and guess what, both the "paid" guy or
gal and I were correct - wha-da-ya think about that???!!! Ha!  It
appears that the two companies merged some time back!  Per their
