Imagine the following scenario. I am moving from Canada to US. My new
employer will cover the costs of transportation of my car. I don't
have one. So, is it cheaper to buy one in Alberta, Canada (GST6%, no
Provincial tax) or in Seattle, Washington, US? I am NOT interested in
US makers, mostly Japanese (Honda, Toyota) and German (BMW). There's
also a distant interest in Hybrid enabled cars. Please consider
different currencies with US$1=CAN$1.23 currently.
