I am researching check processing, particularly as "check 21" has made
it possible for non-banks (corporations, retailers) to deposit checks
remotely ("remote deposit capture")

I am looking at two types of companies - companies that make the
systems to do centralized check processing (sometimes called
transport):
BancTec, NCR, Unisys

as well as the distributed check capture companies: Digital Check,
Panini, RDM, Canon Technology Solutions, SEAC, MagTek

I would like the following things:

1) List/links of 25+ case studies/customers of distributed check processing
companies. I would like links to articles that reference, "such and
such a company" deployed X number of Y vendor remote deposit capture
devices, preferably where the name of the contact person at the
company/evaluator is named is helpful. Usually news articles that
mention the deployment is helpful

Additionally, I would like a regular list of 3-5 names of the largest
customers (usually it will be large banks, sometimes large retailers)
that use a significant # of deployed remote deposit capture devices
for each company above (the last two may be hard to find). If this
detail is in the list above, then that is fine.

2) List/links of 30 VARs in the "Check 21" solution category, who sell
solutions that include one of the distributed check capture companies
above.

3) List of 8+ experts (analysts, article writers) in the field that
can speak on trends in the industry, but more so commentary on
vendors. I've already found

4) List of ~10+ articles (3+ for each company) that describe what the
"big" companies that do centralized processing are doing in the field
of check processing, particularly in distributed capture
(partnerships, acquisitions, OEM, etc.)

Thank you.

Hello cquestion-ga,

You've asked four somewhat related questions. I took a quick look and
decided that I would not attempt to work on any of them because I
think it's highly probable that some of the information you're looking
for will be hard or impossible to find.

I suggest that you close this question and post four separate
questions instead. That way several researchers could work on your
questions at the same time. It would also make it possbile for you to
get a partial answer if only some, but not all, of the information
you're looking for is available.

Good luck.
