What are the restrictions for an historic home in the following towns
- Wilton, Weston, Ridgefield and New Canaan CT.

HI, this is just a free comment, not an "answer" to your question.

I did a little searching, but decided to leave the question to a G-A
Researcher who could post an official answer.  What I did discover is
that there are different categories of "historical homes":  those on
the national register, those designated by a lower level of
government, and maybe equally worthy homes that are not registered. 
The restrictions may vary accordingly.

IF you know or can find out who has designated homes in the towns
mentioned, and tell us, perhaps someone can help you by finding the
applicable restrictions, but you can probably ask at the source
yourself.
