a pioneer pdp436sxe with jamo dmr60 surround system

I dont seem to be able to "see" the xbox signal through any imput 1-4
on the tv or through any jamo input.

I have connected the composite cable to both machines and got nothing

Ill happily pay for a step by step guide to answer this...
