I looked around on the internet for a convenient list of persons
executed by the state of Washington since 1980, and found some
information. A particularly helpful site is the Washington State
Department of Corrections special section on capital punishment, which
lists the following persons as having been executed since 1980 (there
have been four):
Jan 5, 1993: Westley Allen Dodd
May 27, 1994: Charles R. Campbell
Oct 13, 1998: Jeremy Sagastegui
Aug 8, 2001: James H. Elledge
There are ten people currently on "death row" in the state, as well.
