The text in every part of my computer all of a sudden turned to bold. I am using Windows XP Home Edition. I went to Microsoft's site to find out how to solve the problem, and the whole page was bold and I could not read it. Here are other examples: 1. Applications: In Macromedia Dreamweaver, the normal
text here appears in bold in the preview pane when using Macromedia Dreamweaver. 2. Operating Sytem: The "Start" text in my Start Button is more cramped horizontally than I've ever seen. 3. Websites: The ordinary text in Google search results are so large they appear to be headings. When I go to CNN.com, what is normally easy-to-read text in articles appears all bold. 4. Browsers: These problems are occuring in both Internet Explorer and Firefox. |

You may have modified your Windows "Appearance" on accident. You can review and modify it by right-clicking anywhere on your desktop, and then choosing Properties. The 4th tab, Appearance will show you the style, color scheme, and fot size. Try changing them, it may be that simple. |
