I would like a list of Premiership-level football games that are
scheduled to be played in any London arena between August 10 and
August 17, 2006.

I believe these will be pre-season and therefore "friendly" matches.

As far as I know, the Premiership teams that play at home in London
are: Arsenal, Chelsea, Tottenham Hotspur, West Ham United, Fulham, and
Charlton Athletic. I am also interested in any other top-tier
football game that might be played in London during the given week.

The reason I am using Google answers for this question is that I find
the information on the teams' websites to be difficult to locate and
possibly incomplete. The only match I have found so far that fits
this criteria is Fulham vs. Boavista - Saturday Aug. 12, tickets not
yet available for sale.

If pre-season matches for a given team are still being scheduled,
please advise, and include the expected date that the pre-season
schedule will be finalized.

Thanks!!

all pre season matches will now have been confirmed
arsenal could possibly have a home champions league qualifying tie
against as yet unknown opposotion on the 8/9th of august.
http://www.arsenal.com/fixtures.asp?thisNav=fixtures&Title=Arsenal+First+Team+Fixtures

again your time schedule rules out any matches involving charlton
however on the 5th of august charlton host the new zealand national
side at the valley
http://www.cafc.co.uk/Fixtures.ink?team=p&season=06/07

the time schedule also rules out action at stamford bridge
(chelsea)however on the 9th of august chelsea host celtic in a pre
season game

on saturday the 12th of august fulham host boavista of portugal at
craven cottage with a 3pm kick off

there are no games at white hart lane tottenham playing away at
borussia dortmund on the 5th august is tottenhams only friendly in
august

west ham host olympiakos on saturday the 12 of august kick off time is
3pm again, prices for this fixture are adults band 1 & 2 20 gbp bands
3 and 4 15gbp under 16s can access any part of the ground for 5gbp
they can be booked by either telephoning 0870 112 2700, alternatively

been promoted anyway they have a home friendly on the 8th of august
against the mighty inter milan

so in essence in your week between the 10th and 17th you have the
choice of fulham vs boavista and west ham vs olympiakos. my personal
choice would be west ham vs olympiakos upton park has better
facilities than craven cottage. hope this helps
