I need some help locating an 18-tooth beveled pinion gear for an old
post hole digger that's powered by a tractor (three point hitch). The
input shaft is 1-1/4 inch. The only information I have on the digger
is a number cast into the gear box: 5E499. I do not know the
manufacture of the gearbox or the assembly. If a picture is needed to
either further aid in the search or confirm the correct part, email me
at johngalt1957@gmail.com and I'll email them along. If at all
possible, please provide a drawing of the gearbox in which the gear is
to be used in. Thanks in advance!
