That movie was about the WW2. There was an Allied intelligence officer in occupied Europe, who was captured by the Nazis. He was interrogated about time and place of planned Allied invasion in Europe, but he didn't reveal that information. Then he was sent to sleep by some medicine and when he woke up, Germans had made a mystification as if the war had already ended and if officer was in some kind of hospital. There were even newspapers with post-war dates and the territory was guarded by "American" soldiers. In the end the officer realized that he is being deceived and managed to flee to near Switzerland. I would be very grateful if you could tell the title of this movie. Most likely it is the movie of the 80'ies. | |

I'm glad to have been able to help you identify your movie as "Breaking Point." There are several other movies called "Breaking Point." If you decide to rent or purchase, be sure to get the one in which Corbin Bernsen appears. It was released on VHS in 1991, and used copies are not difficult to obtain. As far as I know, no DVD version has been released.
