That movie was about the WW2. There was an Allied
intelligence officer in occupied Europe, who was captured by the
Nazis. He was interrogated about time and place of planned Allied
invasion in Europe, but he didn't reveal that information. Then he was
sent to sleep by some medicine and when he woke up, Germans had made a
mystification as if the war had already ended and if officer was in
some kind of hospital. There were even newspapers with post-war dates and the
territory was guarded by "American" soldiers. In the end the officer
realized that he is being deceived and managed to flee to near
Switzerland. I would be very grateful if you could tell the title of
this movie. Most likely it is the movie of the 80'ies.

I believe your movie is either "36 Hours" or its remake, "Breaking Point":

36 Hours
http://imdb.com/title/tt0057809/

Breaking Point
http://imdb.com/title/tt0096977/

"36 Hours" was in black & white, and "Breaking Point" was in color.

Please let me know if either of these movies is the one you're remembering.

I'm glad to have been able to help you identify your movie as "Breaking Point."

There are several other movies called "Breaking Point." If you decide
to rent or purchase, be sure to get the one in which Corbin Bernsen
appears. It was released on VHS in 1991, and used copies are not
difficult to obtain. As far as I know, no DVD version has been
released.
