I am using Outlook 2003 (SP2). When I sort my Sent Items folder, I
will see emails I sent to John Doe in one group and emails sent to
'John Doe' in another group. Outlook is looking at the apostrophe and
thinking this is a different name. Is there a way to set up a rule (I
think Quicken does this with an autonaming feature) to sort the same
person under the same name? If not, can I just tell Outlook to ignore
apostrophes?

I don't understand that at all, and I don't see that option...?
