I have told the marketing manager that there is no more need for photo shoots, we can get graphic designers to "mock up" real looking images for us... now i want to show examples :-) Can anyone please point me to images that have been purely made on the computer (not necessarily ray traced etc... it might have been a designer doing each pixel if that's what it takes). I want to then print out some of these "realistic looking but not real at all" images and put them up with some real photographs and see if the marketing manager can pick which ones are actual photos. I don't think we'll quite change our photo shoots - but it will go some way into enlightning us into the capabilities of technology... Would appreciate if someone can point me to some such images (realistic looking but not real) and possibly some cases of people have experimented with a similar concept. The "photos" shold include humans ... ones that include humans that seem to express some emotion on their face would be excellent. |
