Hi pdawg,

Sounds like you've got quite a challenge in figuring out all those
pieces. But there is a good bit of information available.

You might start here. This link talks about the “triple robe,” and
the “five-fold robe,” which sound a few pieces short of what you have,
but there is a pretty good description (well, depending on how good
you are at following verbal instructions) of putting one on:
http://mail.metta.lk/mirror/www.buddhanet.net/robe_pics.htm

And here’s a further link to some photos showing two different ways to
wear the robe:

As to your ten pieces, here’s an excerpt from a longer treatise about
robes, which would seem to suggest that perhaps some of the pieces you
have may actually be “accessories,” rather than parts of the robe
itself. “...Other Cloth Requisites. In addition to one's basic set of
three robes, one is allowed the following cloth requisites: a felt
sitting rug (see NP 11-15); a sitting cloth (see Pc 89); a
skin-eruption covering cloth (see Pc 90); and a rains-bathing cloth
(see Pc 91). The following articles are also allowed and may be made
as large as one likes: a sheet; a handkerchief (literally, a cloth for
wiping the face/mouth); accessory-cloth; bags for medicine, sandals,
thimbles, etc., with a cord for tying the mouth of the bag as a
carrying strap; bandages (listed in the Rules section of Chapter 5);
and knee straps. The Canon makes no mention of the shoulder cloth that
most bhikkhus wear at present. It would apparently come under the
allowance for requisite-cloths (parikkhara-cola).

To see the full treatise on the subject of cloth and robes, go here:

Another description with some instructions for wearing (and a diagram)
is found here: http://mail.metta.lk/mirror/www.accesstoinsight.org/lib/modern/ariyesako/layguide.html#clothing
. Clicking on the supplied links (i.e. “69,” “70,” “71”) takes you to
additional further discussions, including again information on
additions to the basic robe.

I'm not sure if these links are what you were looking for, so I've
posted them as a comment. Please let me know, though, if you do find
them helpful and, if so, I'll go ahead and post as an answer.

Good luck with your efforts!

Thanks.....I'm afraid I'm really looking for some pretty explicit
instructions. The pictures and excerpts from the texts do help but
I'm not quite there.
