How do we access Microsoft Mail on NT Server as an XP user from home?

We only have Microsoft Mail Post Office running on Windows NT. Users
who need to be connected from home already have Microsoft Mail setup
on thier laptops running XP Pro. Unfortunately, we do not have
Exchange Server 2003.

I do have Admin access.
