?All dogs and their guardians must make an appointment for a
complimentary pre-boarding interview, which is conducted at our
facility with a staff trainer. We use this time to learn about your
dog's social, behavioral and medical history, to explain our services,
to answer your questions, and to give you a complete tour of the
facility. If your dog has never boarded before, or has a history of
separation anxiety, we may require a trial overnight in advance of a
long stay.?

Why does my dog need to be evaluated in person?
?During the initial pre-boarding consultation, we learn about your
dog?s unique needs. We ask questions about her social, medical and
behavioral history, her likes and dislikes, special handling needs,
and care requirements. We also assess how she responds to the Citizen
Canine environment. We use this information to place dogs
appropriately in playgroups, and to better meet your dog?s individual
needs while she is staying with us. We also give you a full tour of
the facility and answer any questions you have about any of our
services.?

Older dogs
Older dogs have their own groups where they can enjoy the sunshine
without being harassed by boisterous youngsters.

Private indoor room
?Each guest enjoys a private indoor room furnished with a raised bed
and bedding. Individually prepared meals are served up to 3 times per
day depending on your dog?s age and appetite. Fresh water is provided
at all times. Every dog enjoys at least two extended playgroups daily,
plus an early morning and late evening potty trip, so they can
maintain their good housetraining habits. Individual training and love
sessions can be added to make your dog?s stay even more enjoyable.
Relaxation is an important part of every dog?s day so each guest
returns to his private room for naptime between activities.?

windows and doors, and furnished with raised beds and bedding. There
are larger rooms for families or bigger dogs, and a special area for
small dogs.
Our 4500 sq. ft. indoor facility is climate-controlled and features an
indoor area for agility and training classes, a lounge for individual
love sessions with our staff, and a kitchen stocked with kongs toys
and healthy treats.?

?Dogs are put in playgroups with 2 to 5 other dogs of similar size,
age, and play style. Young puppies and rowdy adolescents have their
own groups where they won?t pester the older dogs. Senior citizens
also have their own group where they won?t be molested by more active
dogs.?
