I am looking for examples of consumer goods invented/first launched in
an emerging market, and then successfully rolled-out into mature
markets. |

Would you consider the Korean market an emerging one? What about the Israeli?

Yes, Korea is an emerging market.
Israel less clearly qualifies as an emerging market, but I'm prepared
to be "flexible"

largulau-ga,
Can you tell me a bit more about the type of goods you're looking for.
In particular, a lot of foods come to mind -- tacos from Mexico, lo
mein from China -- but I have a feeling this is not what you're
looking for.
Also, what sort of timeframe? Movable time was invented in China, but
again, I'm guessing this isn't quite what you're after.
Any detail you can add would be appreciated.
Thanks,

I'm looking for "mainstreaam" consumer goods, with no specific "ethnic" origin.
Clearly, chinese food was invented in China and then became popular
all around the world, but that's not what I am looking for.
Red Bull (energy drink), which was created and first launched in
Thailand before it becale highly popular in many mature markets, is a
better example. In terms of timeframe, say the last 10 or 15 years
would be ok.

I don't know if you consider the a "good" since it largely exists in
cyberspace, but the popular game, The Legend of Mir, originated in
Korea:

Does that count?
