Hello judithk-ga!

I was able to find the information you are requesting. One caveat is
that drug clearance varies from person to person depending upon your
specific metabolism. I found a website that gives clearance times for
various medications that can show up in the urine. According to this
list, hydrocodone can remain in the urine anywhere from 1 to 6 days.
Other opiates have varying times depending upon the person?s
metabolism. Here is a sampling of others.

* Oxycodone: 8-24 hours
* Codeine: 2-4 days
* Morphine: 2-4 days
* Demerol: 2-4 days
* Methadone: 6-12 days

Specific to your request for hydrocodone, based on your individual
metabolism, it's in your system for 3 to 5 days! Never take a urine
drug test with your first urination of the day. Drink lots of water,
urinate as much as you can while drinking lots and lots of water
(those "detox" recipes do not work) to dilute anything if you have any
doubts.  Good luck!

if you are asking this question because you have a drug test, and you
are on the medication by prescription, then you should bring the
bottle with you to the drug test so they can visually see that you are
suppose to be on it (a letter from the prescribing dr doesnt hurt
either). you should also provide that information to the
employer/school/etc.

if you are not prescribed the medication...well...good luck.
