Hi -

I believe that the syndrome that you are describing is Turner syndrome
(a chromosomal abnormality or absence of one x chromosome). This
sydrome is restricted to females (you need at least one x chromosome
for survival) and has symptoms such as gondal dysgenesis
(non-development of female reproductive organs) and diabetes (frank
diabetes around 5%, glucose intolerance around 25%). Other commonly
associated findings are short stature, facial abnormalities, cardiac
(heart) malformations, and hypothryoidism.

The Turner Syndrome Society of America also maintains a web-page with
many links to information:

Search strategy:
Google searchs: "turner syndrome", diabetes "gonadal dysgenesis"
