I have seen in google search that many UPS stores are on sale in
Calgary now days. Why are people selling their UPS stores at same
time? I am searching for my answer if UPS stores are not making money
or some other reasons are for that.

Hello suryavisvanatha-ga,

Searching the UPS site I found 18 UPS Store locations in Calgary. How
many do you think are currently for sale? Which ones? Why do you think
this is an exceptionally high number. Thanks.

In a check of canadianbusinessforsale.com I see 3

One owner says they are moving to BC
One owner says they own 2 stores and want to downsize to 1
One owner ... no info given (Though to me it seems like it might be a
UPS owned store that they inherited from Mail Box Etc that they are
trying to franchise out)

It is my understanding, based on US stores, that these stores are not
doing well. UPS has changed the rate structure under which they pay
these stores and most have seen a dramatic fall in revenue. Stores
used to get a percentage, this is the amount that has been changed in
relation to UPS based products.
