Question ID: 746599
I am looking to invest about $200 a month in Canadian energy stocks.
Probably an index fund that is comprised of a group of Canadian blue
chip energy issues. I would like it to work in such a way that each
month the dollars would come out of my bank account, and I don't have
to worry about anything. What I need is the fund name and an easy way
to set this up. I figure in ten years, I'll have enough to retire.

Hi ejpusa-ga,

To maximize the convenient and range of choice, can you provide:

1. Where you currently reside
2. Which financial institutions you currently deal with (banking
and/or wealth management)
3. Are you limited to a certain class of fund (ie. load or no-load)?

Thanks,
answerguru-ga

1. New York State
2. Just have a straight checking account now in local USA bank.
3. Can be an index fund, or maybe make a "basket of stocks", I'm
flexible, pretty computer savvy, so don't mind having software build
something for me.
