I am considering applying to enroll in a Chinese (Mandarin) language
program (CLP) offered by a prestigious University in China
(preferrably in Shanghai or Beijing). I have briefly scanned the
english admissions web pages of Beijing Language and Culture
University, Tsinghua, Shanghai Jiao Tong, Fudan and USTC Universities,
but have not taken the time to compare the programs.

I am looking for the following such information and anything else
that will be useful in choosing which University to apply to:

-rankings of CLPs on offer(such as the Biz school rankings on businessweek.com),
-a list of blogs written by foreign students either currently or
previously enrolled in any CLPs in China,
-online articles comparing CLPs in China,
-a comparison of tuition and living expenses at these Universities,
-a comparison of the prestige of Universities that offer CLPs,
-a comparison of the variety of courses offered by other departments
available to foreign students enrolled CLPs,
-a Google Earth screenshot of Beijing/Shanhai with placemarks of the
Universities (or the coordinates).
