It is been quite good to have an email address for mobile to receive
sms. All the mobile providers in INDIA provide this functionality,
what I would like to know is, to find their email address based on the
number.

To be so simple, if I have been given a mobile how will I find its
provider name through a program.

Southern India.

Hi, 

Sorry for the delay, My ISP is still not on. 

I beleve you will need to get your web designer to write out a simple
program to 'find' the code and relate it to an email address. For
e.g.,

9821018501 - mobile number
21X - service provider's code 

When you get a list of service providers and their email address
formats for delivering mail through the internet to their cells as
SMS, you can simply correlate the code number to the email address.

21X => xxx@XYZmobile.com

The email addresses that you require will need a very long search and
many telephone calls to find emails from each and every provider in
India. This is pretty time-consuming collection of data. However, once
you get it, the programming is easy!

I will still look for a program that does this, but let me tell you
that I don't believe there can be any program that has in itself a
database of all providers in India! Without this, it is really much
better and cheaper for your web designer to write this feature in - of
course, with the information that is required.

Answer is not upto the expected level. But I respect his time in
giving some related info.

Dunno the situation in India. But over here, a unique three-number
prefix is assigned to each provider. SO if you look at the prefix you
can identify the provider.

For $2 he has done a great job - what more do you expect, him to write
the program ???? Your only offering $2 !

Whatever you say without an answer, then what is the use.
I don't expect 500 or 1000 pages or one page full of texts. A single
line which suits the answer is enough. If you are not capable doing
it, just you can drop taking it.

I just expect a perfect and a clear answer, to an expected level. I
should appreciate myself that I paid atleast $2 for an answer which I
didn't expect, where my question is clear cut.

Neither I even called him to give a full page of answer which does not
fit to my question. It is my encouragement that I paid that amount.
Otherwise I should have neglected to even pay $2.

Where the person who commented on the question, did much excellent
than the person who requested for clarification. But the researcher is
giving me hundreds of words which I don't expect and not at all needed
in this fish (technical) market.

Also for you $2 is very simple, may be you have more money. It matters
for me becoz it is  $2, I can do more with this amount. I find that
the amount for this question is enough.
