Hi
I recently read about remote access software that allows the admin to
remotely connect to and control a users machine via the internet.
However, this specific software allows the admin to obscure/hide the
screen from the end user, so that the end user is not able to see what
the admin is doing or read the admin's usernames/passwords. I need to
know the name of this software.

thanks

One answer is Dameware, which I really like to use myself. In
Dameware, setup a connection and then check "Lock remote keyboard and
mouse" in the settings. After that a greyed out checkbox becomes
selectable that says "Enable Blank screen", thus totally taking away
control and visuals for the user behind the console.

pcAnywhere is also very likely to support this feature, but I never
tested that. PC-Duo also can, and that, I did test.
