Hello.

This question is for anyone with or can find research on market share
data for Apple computers. I am specifically interested in Apple's
recent market share information for hardware installed in the legal
industry or legal departments of corporations.

An answered question will include:
* - Multiple Links to recent reports, news items, industry white paper, etc
* - Market details of Apple machines in legal firms and corp law departments
* - Install base details for Apple machines in legal firms and corp law depts

(Mac-based means iMac, iBook, MacBook, Xserve, Xraid, etc)

Also, would be interested, but not require for an answered question:
* - any historical changes on this subject for the past 10 years.
* - any advertising or marketing links/details for Mac-based legal software

An answered question is **not** required to include:
Details on specific hardware types (desktop, laptop, server, etc) of
Apple hardware installed in legal firms or law departments of
corporations. I'm only interested in the Mac install details, not
about specific hardware.

Have fun!

A researcher can get you specifics, but perhaps you can poke around
the Web site of the International Legal Technology Association (ILTA)
http://www.peertopeer.org/.

I looked at peertopeer.org, findlaw, etc with no luck. Statistics on
generic terms like "Technology purchases", "equipment upgrade", etc
were available, but nothing specific to Apple hardware. Thanks.
