Hello, 
  I am an Iranian girl and I am not marrying someone of my culture.
And the guys family want to come ask my family for my hand however, I
am not quite sure how a traditional family wedding proposal is sappose
to work. Ie: Khastegari. I need to know all the rules. Especially,
what the grooms family need to do and bring. Also what we need to
return to them/him. Also if we answer right away, or do we answer
later. If the answer is yes, what do we give them, it is the Holy
Quran? Anyway if someone can give me an in-depth info of what to do I
would greatly appreciate it.
