We are having a wedding and are looking for a recording of "Follow Me", the song by John Denver, but performed by some other artist. The only recording that I've found by John Denver himself is the one on "The Best of Rocky Mountain Collection" album which was more of an ambient concert recording and just isn't of the quality that we would like to replay sometime in our wedding ceremony (it was sung by a vocalist at my parent's wedding, so we're including it, but not hiring a vocalist). I know that Peter, Paul & Mary recorded it, but it is not desireable as a recording to play, either. Could a music afficianado provide us with a list of other artists that have recorded this song? It doesn't matter if it is on CD or on an indendent site like MP3.com, having a list to audition would be wonderful. Thanks!!!! |

Two additional artists, listed on iTunes, who have covered the song: Beth Lodge-Rigal [album: Follow Me] Colleen Collins [album: There is Love] These two versions are of the acoustic/guitar/folk variety. You can also hear clips of both the Innocence Mission and Nana Mouskouri on iTunes. The Olivia Newton-John cover is on her album Have You Never Been Mellow.
