A legitimate UK business will be listed on the "Companies House"
website. Network Solution Limited is indeed listed there. This of
course does not rule them out as illegitimate though.
http://wck2.companieshouse.gov.uk/d71493e9bb882062298dc1b142356937/compdetails

The address is different than the one listed on the website. They
were very recently incorporated, "Date of Incorporation: 06/04/2006".

They have a valid Identification/ Registration number: 05771404. It
checks out on the government website listed above.

They don't yet have a credit report listed here:
http://www.ukdata.com/company-credit-reports/NETWORK-SOLUTION-LIMITED.html

This is due to the fact that they were just incorporated last month.

In answer to your question they are most definitely a real company.
This, however, does not completely rule out the possibility that they
are a scam. Due to the fact that they have just incorporated and have
no credit record, I would not do business with them without some very
reliable business references. If they cannot provide this, don't get
involved with them. Wait until they have proven themselves as a
legitimate business.

If you require any additional information please post a request for clarification.

Thanks!

Their web site contains references to Quick Solution Networks. Some of
the text appears to be directly copied (sorry, stolen) from that web
site.

Is it only me, or did this question start with "dear scriptor-ga"?

Hmmm...

In addition, there is a well known American company called Network
Solutions, dealing with website hosting.

It seems to me that it is an attempt to play on that well-known name
and to deceive customers into thinking that this is a UK branch of
that well-known company (which sells UK addresses through its dot/com
site).

Yes, Polly, the Question was addressed to Scriptor but, alas, he seems
to have disappeared.

Please see if you can find him!
