A while back, I read about a company which offered an interesting new service. This company had established a fleet of cars in numerous cities and numers parking places around those cities. The idea was that one could drive those cars as one needed and then park the car at one of the designated parking areas when one was through. This service was available as a monthly membership fee of around $55 or for different fees for other time requirements, such as $72 for only one day's use. I cannot remember the name of the company! I've been searching around and I can't find their website or anything about them. I remember their logo was green and they had locations in seattle, Boston ( I think), and other cities, too. Can you find me the name of this company? |

Dear awh1984-ga, I have found two companies. One in Seattle and one in Boston (with a green logo). Flexcar http://www.flexcar.com/ Zipcar http://www.zipcar.com/ Other companies in the US can be seen at the bottom of this page. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zipcar I hope this answers your question. If it does not, or the answer is unclear, then please ask for clarification of this research before rating the answer. I shall respond to the clarification request as soon as I receive it. Where I live, in Edinburgh, Scotland, there is a very efficient service like this called the City Car Club. There are similar schemes all over the UK and they are very popular. www.citycarclub.co.uk |

That's really neat. Thankfully, just today, it has been announced they're starting something like this here in Austin. |
