Hi,
I am trying to put together a compilation of games that my father,
Randy Garber, a former NASL player in the late seventies ('75 through
'79), played in throughout his career.
His career was with multiple teams, and I don't want to ask him for
the exact details because I want to surprise him for his upcoming
birthday in August.
Here is what I have to go on:
1975-'76 Tampa Bay Rowdies
(indoor team here perhaps as well?)
1976 LA Aztecs
1977-'78 Washington Diplomats (leading scorer in indoors?)
Sorry about the lack of info, but I really don't have much to go on,
and was hoping you may have some rosters, or other compiled data that
you can easily search.
I would like to find and purchase as many of the videotaped games for
the teams that he played on, and will then put together a compilation
myself. I have never seen my father play, although I have seen him
coach throughout his career, so this means a lot to me, and I am sure
that it will mean a lot to him as well.
Please let me know if there is any other information that I could
discreetly gather that would help in your search, or if there are
other resources that you are familiar with that would help me to hunt
down more footage of him playing.
